The most experienced scientists, extension workers, and graziers will be brought together to share their knowledge for the benefit of ruminant livestock and agroforestry industries everywhere.

The conference will be held at the beautiful University of Queensland St Lucia Campus in Brisbane Australia, and will include a 3-day field trip to visit some of the most successful large-scale leucaena graziers.

Program:

Pre-conference 3-day field tour of Australian grazing properties (29–31 October): Visit some of the most beautiful southern Queensland leucaena properties where leucaena is a key component to the success of breeding and fattening enterprises. The three-day bus tour will be hosted by knowledgeable guides, and producers. The registration fee will cover: single or shared accomodation for four nights (Sunday 28 October – Wednesday 31 October), bus, and meals.


The main conference (1–3 November): The organising committee has planned a comprehensive program with invited speakers from all around the world. This will be held at The University of Queensland on the beautiful 100ha St Lucia campus. The University of Queensland is ranked Australia’s leading agricultural university and top 20 worldwide. Registration includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea during the conference, and an official conference dinner at The University of Queensland’s Customs House Heritage Restaurant.
